At DJ's Treasures In Time, I believe that every watch tells a story. This website was founded with a passion for simple elegance, and a love for building beautiful, intricate and precise items. My mission is to offer stunning timepieces that seamlessly blend quality, craftsmanship and contemporary style. All at a price that doesn't break the bank for a solid, quality timepiece.
I founded this website as an outlet for my creative side, particularly in the realm of using my hands to create. Now, in my retirement years, this is a one-guy operation, with all work done by myself and approved by my other half. Her thoughts, likes, and dislikes play a vital role in the custom builds that eventually make their way to the store for your viewing and buying pleasure.
Being retired and partially disabled, I sought an outlet for myself, a reason to get out of bed every day, if you will. Some years ago I revisited an old passion for building models, 3D puzzles, and, of course, Legos. After doing a bunch of each of those, I began experimenting with something more challenging and one day, I looked at a few broken watches I had. Needing a new challenge I wanted to see if I could work on them myself, instead taking them to the guy at the mall..
This marked the beginning of my fascination with the precision of horology. My curiosity evolved into a challenge to see if these aging hands and eyes could manipulate those tiny parts correctly and make those older watches I had actually work again.
After facing some inevitable failures, breaking some movements, acquiring some tooling and conducting endless research, I achieved successes, made sales on some famous auction sites, and forged a lot of great friendships along the way. It has transformed into a true passion of mine, and this is what it has morphed into.
Having designed, built, and sold well over 180 unique timepieces, I felt it was time to take a leap.
Now, I have my own store and my own webpage!
This platform showcases my custom watch builds, alongside some high-quality clones that come my way as well.

I have completed numerous commissioned, custom watch builds for clients in the past, and I can create a unique timepiece for you as well, if you're interested.
You choose the movement, dial, hands, case, bezel style, and bracelet, whether you prefer an Oyster, a Jubilee, a Presidential, or another option, everything is available.
I source all cases and bracelets in high-quality 904L stainless steel, or a 904L with a, tough as nails, Ion coating in various finishes like Black, Rose Gold, Gold, or Gold and stainless two tones. If you prefer a more casual look, I can also provide a two-piece leather strap or a Rubber/Silicone option that’s perfect for hiking or diving.
Please keep in mind that there will be a lead time to gather the necessary parts from my European friends. Then it's on to assemble your custom watch, and conduct quality checks, test rigs, etc.. You can expect a timeframe of about 3 to 4 weeks for this process.
Additionally, I regularly visit local estate sales, so check back often. You never know what treasures might be available, including bags, purses, wallets, and old Swiss watches.
